Aluminium heritage windows and doors are a durable, low-maintenance choice for classic and contemporary properties. Designed as a direct alternative to steel glazing, slim aluminium profiles replicate traditional metal frames while maximising natural light indoors.

Resistant to rust and corrosion, aluminium requires very little maintenance over its lifespan. Finished in marine-quality powder coatings, these products feature period hardware such as monkey tail or bulb handles to suit Victorian, Art Deco or modern architecture.

At Swadlincote Windows we manufacture and install the Alitherm Heritage system from Smart Systems, a high-quality window and door range made in Britain. Replicating classic steel aesthetics with ultra-slim sightlines, Alitherm Heritage provides an effective solution for listed building renovations, conservation areas and heritage projects.

The system has advanced polyamide thermal break technology to reduce heat loss and improve energy efficiency. Fully compliant with current Part L Building Regulations, it features multi-point locking and PAS 24 security options for complete peace of mind.

Alitherm Heritage is available in various configurations including fixed, side hung, top hung, tilt and turn and flush casement windows for bespoke domestic or commercial installations.
